Booking ticket for ferry.

You can book ferry ticket on https://www.ssl.fo/en

If you haven't got the license plate from us, you can use a FAKE license plate.
The license plate have to be with 2 letters and 3 numbers. (Eks. BB 001, AA 234, LL 999 )

When you have got the real license plate from us, you have to change it (LATEST 3 HOURS BEFORE SAILING) on https://www.ssl.fo/en

Tunnel prices:

Vága and norðoya tunnel (INCLUTED IN TUNNEL PASS)

100 DKK (13 EURO)  for 2 ways pass.

Eysturoyar and sandoyar tunnel (NOT incluted in tunnel pass)

250 DKK (33 EURO) for 1 way pass.

PAYMENT LINK will be sent to your email, same day as returning the car.

 Damage on the car.

If you make any damage on the car, you have to send an email to Info@rent.fo right away.

If the damages are big, or damage has been made on another car, you have to call the police on +298351448

You are not allowed to fix the damages your self. (Or hide them for us) Police will be called if this happens.

Parking fines

If you get any parking fines, you have to tell us.

You can pay the parking fines, at the police station.

If you don't pay the parking fines before leaving the Faroe Islands, you will be charged 500 DKK extra handling fee.

Here you can see how to pickup your car at the airport.

1. Walk in to the tunnel right in front of the airport.

2. There is a RENT.FO key box on the right side, when you have walked 30-50 meters.

3. Press your code, and the key will fall down.

The code for the box is your birthday( The birth date you have written in your reservation)

I´m born 31-08-1987 (My code is : 310887) CHECK ON YOUR BOOKING RESERVATION WHAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN WHEN BOOKED!

4. Pick up the car in our parking lot, where the X is on the map.

READ, FILL OUT AND SIGN THE RENTAL CONTRACT THAT IS IN THE CAR! 

Would recommend to take pictures of all the scratches you see on the car, before driving.

Return the car in P3 parking zone. 

We do have our own parking spots at the airport. (RENT.FO logo is written on the parking spots)

Put the keys in the drop off box in the walking tunnel. (ONLY DROP OFF FOR RENT.FO CARS)

Payment link for tunnels, will be sent to your email, the same day as returning the car. If one of our workers is at the airport, he will ask for payments before leaving Faroe Islands.

You will get email with the password to your keybox.

Car return is at R. C. Effersøes Gøta 17, Tórshavn.

Park in front of the building, and leave the keys in the Drop off key box right beside the pickup boxes.
